Paragliding

One of the many reasons we choose this part of Spain to live was for the fantastic paragliding opportunities that the area has to offer. As a keen paraglider pilot back in the UK, I was always frustrated by the amount of 'parawaiting' that you did due to the weather. You chase across the country trying to get to the best slopes for the conditions of the day. When you eventually get there, the wind was either too strong, not enough, changed direction or the conditions where not right to fly. I remember it took an age for me to get my CP finished and to get some cross country practice, you know the feeling? Not any more, we have the solution! Here in this part of Spain from September to May you can expect great weather and we have many slopes that face in any wind directions. So why not try Andalusia and have a long weekend flying with us, staying at Dama De La Sierra?

This package is for competent Pilots only, any flights under taken are done so at your own risk. Precise landing skills required at some sites, but you will be fully briefed prior to take off. You must also have; your own adequate accident insurance; a certified glider; a reserve; appropriate clothing and footwear; your BHPA club rating certificate. We do not offer tuition, just advice based upon our flying experience at each of the sites.
